Saturday - [Update: 6may2015] The OSX system upgrade went OK, however the system hangs when trying to create a new Bootcamp partition, and so no posts for a while.


In face, the web page is also currently down - AmHosting shut it down because I failed to pay on time (old credit card number). A weeks grace on a year-long contract, after nearly ten years as a customer.

And the notification was a nearly blank page with a rude message in text about "billing issues" where the site used to be....

I am reminded of an old cartoon I saw once, years ago in a class. There was a desk in a shop (I think it way a vacuum cleaner shop, but it might of been auto parts).  Over it is a sign saying "Help Desk". But on the desk itself is a sign saying "Customer Service Not Spoken Here".

I thought it was funny at the time....

Sunday - [Update: 6may2015] Started on the system upgrade, so no posts for a while.

I'm was pretty sanguine about the OSX bit, it's the Bootcamp and Win7 side that worried me, and with reason....


I did read several books, but I'll just update that stuff later...
