Saturday - Back in Lancaster for the weekend.


I should be doing Christmas shopping and all the rest, but I'm just beat. My feet hurt so much that I mostly just lay on the couch. I don't even want to walk around and pick out Christmas cards....

The cats have accepted Glen, and Suzy even plays with him now; nonetheless they were all quite happy to see me:

Yeah, just one book since Week #40. Just too darn sick and tired I guess. I was listening to "Boys in the Boat", a very good book, but the CD's are so scratched up that I couldn't get past the sixth disk! I've substituted in Oliver Sacks last book in audio, but it isn't quite done yet.

The contractor hit another (mis-marked) waterline. The VWD repair crew is getting to know and despise us I suspect. But not our fault, Saticoy is a nightmare to work in.

Sad news, my friend Tim's brother in law passed away, in the hospital.  Rest in Peace, K.

Sunday - OTR. Slept in a bit. did some chores, did some shopping for next week.


I went down and spent some more time on the boat, doing some battery maintenance and cleaning up a bit. I'd planned to stay on the boat for the remainder of the project, but we're talking about another month, so I just paid the landlord at larkin for another month.
