Saturday - Back in Lancaster for the weekend.


 Just like last time: I should be doing Christmas shopping but I'm just too darn exhausted.


Some friends are heading up north for a visit with friends, so I'm keeping an eye on their house.

I also spent some time on the phone talking to Natali, who is having serious issues with the Adobe products she is using, Photoshop and Bridge. Apparently Adobe is 'abandoning in place' Bridge, and wants everyone to transition over to a new and less capable product... She lost tens of hours of work when it decided, on it's own, to 'undo' about a weeks worth of work for a product that was due...yesterday.

Adobe was, of course, completely useless in helping resolve the problem. She was in tears in rage and frustration. After an hour or two we came up with a strategy, but it's just one more reason to avoid any Adobe product, ever.

Back to Lancaster in the evening. I had a "pizza party "to go to, with friends, and was looking forward to it. But I was so tired that I started to fall asleep at the wheel on the way home, and despite having the windows open in freezing temperaturs made three wrong turns in town trying to get to my own home. So I called and canceled..

Sunday - OTR. Slept in a bit. did some chores, did some shopping for next week down in Ventura.


If we finish in time - and it'll be close - it will probably be on New Years Eve. I'm already pretty sure I'll be working at least a half day on Christmas Eve. Sigh. But so it goes, the Lord knows the extra money from all these project extensions will come in handy.
