Saturday - had the tax appointment, then headed
south to Ventura. We need to get some drawings and specs done.
My hay fever is giving me fits :-( I never used to get it at all, but
it's been getting worse and worse the last few years.

I always keep an eye out for people creating variations of Emmanuel
Leutze's 1851 "Washington
Crossing the Delaware" painting. It's not as common as the Nighthawks
diner modification thing, but you do run across them. Today it is
this, an amusing title:

- The days starts with Reveille,
since the boat slip is directly across from the base. At 0800 it's time to get
up, time to get up, time to get up in the morning! I
suppose they play it on weekdays, but it's not loud enough to be heard
on a normal working day.
