Saturday 22 September  2018
Saturday - Warm again, into the 90's in the afternoon.

A and two boys came by in the morning, and we managed to sand all the eaves down, preparatory to priming.  I didn't think we'd be done so soon, so I have no primer paint...

Friday 21 September 2018
Friday - Warm.

Did a bit of clean up in the garage, but mostly just worked on the app.

Thursday 20 September 2018
Thursday - Warming up a bit. Into the 90's again.  Sigh.

I was talking about buying scaffolding and my neighbor A offered to come over this weekend, with his boys, and help sand the eaves! Yay!  They are in school, and very busy, so I didn't really want to ask them, but A thinks we can get it done in a day or so.

I went into town and picked up some soda's, sanding masks and goggles, and a lot more sandpaper.  We'll try to start early on Saturday and see how it goes.  Right now the plan is to sand the fascia, then prime, then power wash under the eaves, prime everything again, and then finish paint.  But we probably won't get past sanding this weekend.

Made progress of the settings buttons.  Feeling better about that.

Wednesday 19 September 2018

Wednesday - Warm again.  I turned the a/c on and off a couple of times, which is remarkable for summer in the AV.  Usually it goes on and stays on until late at night.

IOS 12 is out.  Doesn't seem like much of a release.  Though the big item in the last release was a emoji representing a pile of poop, so it isn't much of a hurdle. This will mean an OSX release, however, and a corresponding  new Xcode and iTunes releases as well.  A pleasant day or two of unpaid and unwanted screwing around for me :-(

Tuesday 18 September 2018
Tuesday - warm, but not hot.

Got a text from my brother.  He was stuck in traffic for hours at the Edwards AFB main gate.  Again. They seem to deliberately time these security drills so as to inconvenience the commuters, always have. Jerks. Somehow they never involve getting up the officers in the middle of the night from their warm comfy beds...

We talked a bit, and may go hiking this weekend.  It'll have to be short, I'm not sure I'm really recovered, but I haven't' done much this summer, on account of all the physical issues.

Monday 17 September 2018
Monday -  Tax day.

I had a very simple income stream this year, so they were actually pretty easy to do.  I took them into town and dropped them off,.

I also picked up a book from the library, and also dropped off some eggs for S from A&L.

I am attempting to pay some bills from US Bank, in anticipation of dropping Chase.  Everything seems fine so far, but it's a pain in the butt to do.

Working on the app in the afternoon.

Sunday 16 September 2018
Sunday - Nice.  Did some shopping and laundry.

I need to get a hobby that doesn't require the use of my hands, or a computer.  Getting burned out on that stuff...

I did a little bit of clean up in the yard, getting ready to paint the eaves soon.  I think I need to go get some staging to stand on, it'll take forever one ladder move at a time.  I bought some nails, new 8d and 10d, to fix some places where the nails have popped out.  It's mostly bare wood, I'll need to sand it all down, then prime it, and fix any holes, breaks, gaps, prime again, and then paint. Sigh.
