Saturday - Nice again. Did some minor chores around the house.

S&R found some firewood, reasonably cheap, at a yard sale and I got some help and picked it up. It was a bit of a bait and switch, there was some wood underneath that "wasn't part of the deal" - some nice sycamore. Since the help had already loaded the other wood I didn't have much recourse, and paid. It was maybe $20 more than I would consider fair, but so it goes. My fault for arriving late.

Books so far. Blue Griffon has messed up the underlaying HTML, so I'm not going to do the hyperlinks right now - my hands aren't up to the typing it would take.

In general posting will be rather light, for that very reason.

Friday - Nice weather.

Once again, decided not to do any typing. Did some reading and web research, but even that hurts.

Thursday 18 May 2017 Thursday - Nice weather. Took a good walk, about 8.6 miles. It's warm enough that I drank a liter of water, time to start packing more...

Not much on the app or STARS, my hands are really hurting.

Tuesday - Nice but windy.

Took Xeno into the vets. The vet was astounded and delighted by his progress - he was professional before, and never quite said that the little guy wouldn't make it, but you could tell he had little hope. Surprise!

Of course the little jerk pooped in his carrier just as I brought him into the vets, and stunk the place up. So I asked them to do a fecal test for worms, since he'd so kindly donated a sample for us...

Lots of cleaning when I got home. Yuck.

I have ABs for another week, and I'll take him in again then.

Sunday - Another warm day. Nice, a bit windy in the afternoon

Mother's Day. It's been 19 years since Mom passed. Hard to believe, even now.

Some shopping, but mostly just sat around and read and watched teevee.

My hands are shot so it's enforced idleness.

There are reports worldwide of an internet worm attacking older Windows systems. I only have Win10 on the tablet and laptop, and they are both up to date, but I guess it's a huge mess out there. I think I still need to upgrade Malwarebytes to premium on the tablet.

One of these days Google or Microsoft or Apple is going to really get hacked, and then it will get ugly for everyone. Just a matter of time, really.
